Apprenticeship: a key to solving our child care crisis

David Jordan shares insights and connections across apprenticeship programs and how they can address the workforce crisis in early education and care. Project Flourish, operating under the Center for Childcare Careers/Family Services of Central MA, a program of Seven Hills Foundation, leverages traditional trade apprenticeship models as an on-ramp for support of new professionals joining the field.  While there is no quick fix, there is promise.  Now funding is needed to scale the work.
